The Story Behind The Tiered Garden
While kicking back on his grandfather's porch and enjoying the view of natural beauty, Ryan became distracted by the hanging planters populating the outdoor living area. The existing hanging planters were made of plastic and metal and were definitely showing wear and tear of outdoor exposure to the harsh weather conditions. Ryan said to himself, “There must be a better look for a hanging planter.”
With that goal in mind, he went into his grandfather's do it yourself workshop/garage and came up with the now patent-pending, Tiered Garden hanging planter design. He gave his first prototype to his father for Father's Day, and challenged him with “Let’s patent and sell it.” With that innovative first step -- as they say --“the rest is history.”
Ryan and Eric have developed that first hanging planter into a design system that provides a flexible line of indoor and outdoor hanging platforms. The first applications are specifically for indoor silk flowers and live plants, but it was a no-brainer to mix living plants with birdfeeders to provide an outdoor oasis for the most beloved of backyard wildlife -- songbirds. More designs are being developed to meet customer requests and applications.

Tiered Garden planters are constructed to hold standard plastic, hand thrown clay or other storage containers. We specialize in multi level hanging planters and floating gardens for sale to homeowners as well as the interior design trade and retailers with gift, nature or home and garden centers.
